Phoenix Pride exists to lift our community. We create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and proud of who they are. Our mission reaches far beyond one weekend a year. Our work is anchored in three commitments. Support. Engage. Empower.

Support means showing up for people when they need it most. It means scholarships that open doors for students. It means grants that help local nonprofits offer leadership development, youth programs, health services, and other vital support. It means partnerships that connect people to care and resources they can trust.

Engage means building community all year long. We do that through the Phoenix Pride Festival and Parade, the Phoenix Pride Rainbows Festival, the Awards Reception, the Community Unity 5K, our pageants, and the many gatherings that keep people connected. These events strengthen visibility, build belonging, and create shared joy.

Empower means creating opportunities for people to thrive. When we invest in local programs, we strengthen safer spaces, build confident leaders, and support healthier communities. When our events bring people together, they spark connection, resilience, and community power.

Our impact is real and measurable. Phoenix Pride has returned nearly $1.7 million to the community through scholarships and grants since 2008.

• In 2025, we awarded $119,000 in scholarships.
• We supported local nonprofits through Partnership Grants.
• We helped maintain the Phoenix rainbow crosswalks.
• We launched the Community Unity 5K with more than 340 participants.
• We celebrated record attendance at the 2025 Miss and Mister Phoenix Pride Pageant.
